Member of UNGC
Geotechnics Myanmar is a component of The United Nation Global Compact (UNGC) which is the world’s largest corporate citizenship and sustainability initiative with approximately 13000 corporate participants, including over 8,000 either businesses or non-business and other stakeholders over 170 counties around the world .
In April, 2015, our company has being registered as a pioneer participant of Myanmar soil investigation business industry in the UNGC. We have self-assured ourselves to support the ten principles of the Global Compact with respect to human rights, labor standards, working conditions, environmental impact and anti-corruption.
Since its implement as an initiative of UNGC, we have acclimated to making the ten principles of the Global Compact as a part of the policy, business strategy, culture, day-to- day operations and then promoting the principles in relations to business partners, customers and our company members.

Ten Principles of United Nations Global Compact
Human Rights
Principle 1: Business should support and respect the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights
Principle 2: Make sure Businesses are not complicit in human right abuses
Labour Standards
Principle 3: Business should uphold freedom of association and effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining
Principle 4: The elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labour
Principle 5: The effective abolition of child labour
Principle 6: Eliminate discrimination in respect of employment and occupation
Environment
Principle 7: Businesses should support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges
Principle 8: Undertake initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility
Principle 9: Encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies
Anti-Corruption
Principle 10: Businesses should work against all forms of corruption, including extortion and bribery
